Terms of Service

Welcome to Attain Prep. These terms are a contract between you and Attain Prep (“we,” “us”) that governs your use of the Attain Prep website and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SAT® is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is not affiliated with Attain Prep and does not endorse this Service. All practice questions and lessons on Attain Prep are original material created for this Service; none are copied from the College Board or any other test-preparation provider.

1. What the Service is

Attain Prep is a study tool for the digital SAT: adaptive practice questions, spaced review of missed questions, skill checks, lessons, a score estimate, an AI tutor, and a parent dashboard. It is a practice aid, not a guarantee. We do not promise any particular score, score improvement, or admission outcome.

2. Accounts

A parent or legal guardian (the “account holder”) creates the account, manages billing, and adds one or more student profiles. By adding a student, you confirm that you are that student’s parent or legal guardian, that the student is at least 13 years old, and that you consent to the student’s use of the Service, including the collection and use of the student’s practice data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Give us accurate account information and keep it current.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person per login. Do not share a student login between students.
• Tell us promptly at rex@attainprep.com if you believe your account was compromised.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• The Service is sold as a monthly subscription, priced per student seat. Current pricing is shown at checkout.
• New subscriptions start with a 21-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the first monthly charge is made automatically.
• 100% money-back guarantee. If Attain Prep is not working for your family, email rex@attainprep.com and we will refund your most recent monthly charge in full, no questions asked.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your parent dashboard. After cancellation, access continues to the end of the period you already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, we allow a short grace period, then pause the student’s access until payment is fixed. Fixing the payment in the billing portal restores access.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• If we change prices, we will tell the account holder by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. The new price applies from your next renewal after that notice.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

• copy, scrape, resell, or republish our questions, lessons, or other content;
• share one subscription across students or families beyond the seats you pay for;
• probe, overload, or interfere with the Service, or try to get around usage limits (including the AI tutor’s daily limits);
• use the AI tutor for anything other than study help within the Service;
• upload or submit anything unlawful, or use the Service to harm anyone.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where practical, we will warn you first.

5. The AI tutor

The tutor’s responses are generated by an artificial-intelligence model. They are usually helpful and sometimes wrong. They are study assistance, not professional or educational advice, and should not be the sole basis for important decisions. Tutor usage is subject to daily limits per student, which we may adjust to keep the Service reliable and affordable.

6. Your data and our content

Your family’s data — accounts, practice history, scores, tutor conversations — belongs to you. We use it only to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us for a copy, or ask us to delete it, at any time.

The Service itself — questions, explanations, lessons, software, and design — belongs to us. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active, and nothing more.

7. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any question, explanation, score estimate, or tutor response is correct.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost opportunities or lost data, to the extent the law allows us to exclude them. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Ending or changing the Service

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email and will not charge for time we do not deliver.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For meaningful changes we will notify the account holder by email or with a notice in the Service before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated terms.
